OnlyYou ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Privacy is not just a feature — it is the foundation of OnlyYou.

2. End-to-End Encryption

All messages, photos, videos, and mood data shared between you and your partner are protected with end-to-end encryption. This means:

Message content and media are encrypted on your device before transmission
Our servers store encrypted data and do not hold decryption keys for message content
Only you and your partner can read your messages
Encryption keys are generated and stored only on your devices

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Account information: Name, email address, and profile photo (via Google Sign-In)
Partner connection: The link code used to connect with your partner
Relationship date: The anniversary date you set for the Days of Love counter

Information we do NOT collect:

Message content (encrypted end-to-end)
Photos and videos shared in chat (encrypted end-to-end)
Mood selections and mood history
Location data
Contact lists or address books

4. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we collect is used solely to:

Create and maintain your account
Connect you with your partner
Deliver push notifications (if enabled)
Improve the App's performance and reliability
Provide customer support when requested

5. Data Storage & Security

Your encrypted data is stored on our secure private servers. Account metadata is protected with industry-standard security measures including:

TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
gRPC protocol for secure real-time communication
Encrypted database storage for account metadata
Strict access controls for our infrastructure

We follow industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not serve advertisements. We do not use your data for profiling or marketing. The only exception is when required by law with a valid legal order, and even then, we can only provide unencrypted account metadata — never your message content.

7. Third-Party Services

Our App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Messaging) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Billing — for subscription payment processing

8. Data Retention

Your encrypted messages and media are stored only as long as needed for delivery. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. You can also delete individual messages and media at any time.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your account information at any time through the App
Update your profile information and preferences
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your account information
Opt out of push notifications

10. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Only You offers premium subscription plans (monthly and yearly). All payments are processed securely by Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment card information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.

11. Children's Privacy

OnlyYou is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 16 has created an account, we will promptly delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
